Why I Built This

I’ve been training since I was 14.

Over the years, I’ve tried pretty much everything - I’ve been the cardio bunny, followed military-style fitness, focused purely on strength, trained CrossFit, tackled HYROX, competed in strongman-style training and probably spent far too many hours figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and what actually makes you feel strong.

But my relationship with fitness hasn’t always been about strength.

I grew up in the 90s, surrounded by the idea that smaller was better. Skinny was the goal. Being lean was something to chase, and fitness could easily become another way of trying to make your body take up less space.

That mindset eventually led me down a path that wasn’t healthy for me, including an eating disorder.

It took time, experience and growing up to realise something important:

I don't want to spend my life trying to make my body smaller. I want to make it stronger.

Today, I’m 35, a mum of two, and my life is full of chaos in the best possible way - two kids, two dogs, a horse and everything that comes with them.

And more than ever, I want to be strong enough for all of it.

I want to lift heavy things.
I want to run, jump, carry, climb and move well.
I want resilience, not restriction.
I want fitness that gives me more from my life, rather than taking things away from it.

For me, that has evolved into CrossFit-style training and the combination of strength, conditioning, gymnastics, lifting and functional movement that comes with it. I’m not here to promote a particular brand or tell you there is one perfect way to train. I’ve simply found a style of training that challenges me, keeps me interested and makes me feel capable.

And that feeling - capable - is what I want to give to other women.

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist, with experience working around injuries, limitations and disabilities. I know that fitness doesn't have a single starting point, and I don't believe you need to already be fit, strong, confident or experienced to belong here.

You might be starting from zero.

You might be coming back after years away.

You might be navigating an injury or disability.

You might be a busy mum who has spent years putting everyone else first.

You might already be strong but want to find out what you're really capable of.

Wherever you're starting from, you belong here.

This platform is built around online personal training, community-based training and accessible programmes designed to help women build genuine strength and resilience - physically and mentally.

Not punishment.

Not endless calorie counting.

Not shrinking ourselves to fit an outdated idea of what a woman "should" look like.

Strength. Capability. Confidence. Resilience.

And there’s another reason this matters so much to me.

I have a daughter.

I want her to grow up seeing women celebrate what their bodies can do, rather than constantly criticising how their bodies look.

I want girls to see strength as something to be proud of.

I want them to understand that food is fuel, movement is something to enjoy, and their bodies aren't projects that need fixing.

And I want that mindset to reach beyond my own girl.

Because when we change the way women think about strength, movement and their bodies, we have the opportunity to pass something different on to the next generation.

So this is bigger than training plans.

It's about creating a community of women who support each other, wherever they're starting from, and helping each other become stronger - in the gym and in life.

You don't need to become smaller to become stronger.

You don't need to earn your food.

You don't need to look like an athlete to train like one.

You just need somewhere to start.

Let's get stronger from here.
